Our mission at Fostering Success Foundation is to enhance the lives of foster youth and young adults through encouragement and development of life skills.

About 18,000 Texas children enter the foster care system with 7% of them “aging out” every year as of 2016, according to the Kids Count data center, a project of the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Fostering Success Foundation was founded with a vision of changing those statistics. Transitional Living Programs are designed to serve foster children aged 14 years old up to 23 years old. The main treatment goal of the program is basic life skills development toward independent living.

“These kids have been through a lot, but they aren’t damaged and it’s not too late to help them. They just need some encouragement and support through this transition” said Leah Martinez, co-founder of Fostering Success Foundation, when asked why focus on the older kids in foster care?

Fostering Success Foundation is a new 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with big plans for the future. Visit our website https://fosteringsuccessfoundation.org to learn more about the program and how you can help.
